GSM Audio Intercoms

Sometimes it's not always possible or preferable to run cables around your building to the handsets.

 

Contact Security offer an intercom that works over the GSM network.

GSM Intercoms are becoming the number one seller of intercoms for gates as it isn't practical or economically feasible to dig a trench all the way to the house.

 

1. When the named intercom button is pushed, the unit dials a designated number pre-programmed into the unit. This is usually your home or business telephone number. If the call is not answered it will divert through to a second pre-programmed number. This is usually a mobile telephone number.

 

2. When the call is answered you can talk to the person at the intercom unit and establish whether or not you should allow entrance to your property. Should you wish to grant them access you push the "1" key on your telephone handset and this will release the gate/door.

 

The intercoms can be order in a Vandal Resistant type, with built in access control features like a keypad or a fob/card reader.

 

Extra Functions:

 

• Hold open the gates by texting or phoning the intercom.
• Open and Close your gates from anywhere in the world
• Turn on and off external lights via texting or calling the intercom. (This function can also be used to open garage doors, turn on fountains, disable trades button etc.)
• Open the gates by dialling the SIM card number at no cost to you. This means you can program in relative/workmen's telephone numbers so they can also release the gate without having to use the intercom.
